Another opening, another show...
With a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, Mary Storm has made her career in southern California. Mary began selling, managing, and eventually owning a specialty retail store for over 20 years, located in Seaport Village, a themed shopping venue in a state park setting. She then moved into the non-profit arena, working as an administrator, coach and mentor for Team in Training (a program of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society), utilizing her love of cycling along with her business acumen for 8 successful years. She went on to work with one of the most prolific endurance sports promoters, creating a very successful retail program for a series of events (Rock n Roll Marathon, Muddy Buddy, Womens Running Series, Tri-Rock Triathalons), maintaining sales of approximately $500/sq foot.
Her classmate at the University of San Diego, Bill Mondigo, began his retail career in product design and development and quickly branched out into visual merchandising, working for such retail heavyweights as The Broadway, Macy's, Robinsons/May, IKEA, the Navy Exchange system, as well as a list of independent retailers, creating imaginative, effective displays, merchandising plans and successful shops. Using his in-store retail experience Bill then worked behind the scenes in store and fixture design. Bill and Mary's career paths once again merged, as Bill spearheaded the re-branding and visual look of the Rock n Roll Marathon, Womens Running Series and Muddy Buddy.
